The Man Who Would Be King

Jack,

I understand this is one of your favourite films, after seeing the 'I was a Mason, before I was a Mason' video on YouTube. I had never seen it, but found a DVD copy of it at the local Value Village a while back.

Watched it last night, and found it to be most enjoyable.

I don't know much about the Masons. I had a great uncle who was a Mason, and a good friend of mine has been a Mason for a number of years now.

Anyhow ...

Just thought I'd let you know that I enjoyed the film.

To Cathy:

Hi, there. I'm glad you enjoyed the Movie . . . a grand old bit of Victorian Colonialism. As they say, "They don't make 'em like that any more."

No, they sure don't. These days pretty much all you get is a bunch of CGI hung on the thinnest of plotlines, and all gussied up with unnecessary 3D so they can charge more for the theatre ticket. And what story there is doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

But, I did enjoy THE KING'S SPEECH.

Hope you have a Happy Christmas, Jack! May you have an enjoyable day of celebration with your family. :o)
