This third part deals with the everlasting and apparently ever-appealing subject of Research: what is it and how do you do it? Where do you find your inspiration? How do you fill in the spaces between the historical records? There are hundreds of similar questions and I've been asked most of them many times, and yet there are always new ones coming down the pike. Tomorrow here in the on-site Forum, or next time I do a public reading or a book signing somewhere, someone will ask me another one, couched in a way I've never considered before that time. I find it fascinating how fascinating the whole idea of research is to ordinary readers... And I could talk about it all night...
