Hi Jack. I'm a very recent, albeit hooked, reader of yours. I don't read many books but your Knights of the Black and White captivated my curiosity and I haven't been able to put it down since. My question is in reference to the Order's beliefs about Christianity. As a practicing non-denominational Christian, many times I've wondered how we know what we know today. There are many mysteries about how Christianity came about. And when I read the Old Testament and the New, many more questions surface that I'm unable to get answers to from anyone I know. Is there any truth to the subject of conversation starting on page 369 with regards to Paul not being the Saint we believe him to be today? Any truth to the stuff about the Jews condemning Jesus being a total fabrication? Any truth to Paul's rewrapping Jesus as the Son of God, murdering James, etc? Your writing is so compelling it's caused me to wonder myself where the line between fact and fiction ends. Did you simply create a magnificent story based on the history of the Knights Templar and take creative license to add your own twists and turns, or might this book be full of cleverly disguised revelations about your personal beliefs of early Christianity and the validity of the principles upon which it was founded? I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this subject.
My name is Mark Kane. I know your son Mike, and was wondering if you remember my Mom, Ann Kane. She use to work at the Chateau Lacombe in Edmonton as a waitress and a hostess at the Chevalier Grill. You gave her a copy of a Poem you wrote, It was called "A toast To Canada" We had that copy hanging in our house for a very long time.
I was wondering if you had another copy of that great piece of work, that describes Canada and Scotland, which is where I'm at right now.
